Welcome to France Tourism, an independent travel discovery and planning website. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to the site and its available features.
Please read these Terms carefully. Time-sensitive travel details should always be confirmed with the relevant venue, provider or public authority before you make plans.
1. Access and eligibility
Using the site
You may browse France Tourism for personal, lawful travel research. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the legal capacity required in your jurisdiction, to create an account or submit a listing or post.
Account details
Certain submission features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, keep your credentials confidential and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
2. Acceptable use
You must use France Tourism in accordance with applicable law and these Terms. You must not:
- infringe intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights;
- submit unlawful, misleading, defamatory, abusive or harassing material;
- upload malware, viruses or code intended to damage or disrupt the site;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation;
- scrape, overload, interfere with or bypass security protecting the site;
- use the site to carry out fraudulent or deceptive activity.
We may remove material or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or third parties.
3. Listings and user content
Your responsibility
You remain responsible for text, photographs, listing details and other material you submit. You confirm that your material is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide it.
Permission to display submissions
When you submit content, you grant France Tourism a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display that material as needed to operate, maintain and present the site. This permission lasts for as long as the material is published or reasonably retained in backups.
Listings
A listing does not constitute endorsement, accreditation or a guarantee by France Tourism. Providers are responsible for their own descriptions, availability, accessibility information and service terms.
4. Intellectual property
The France Tourism name, site design, editorial material and original visual elements are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except where the site or law expressly allows it, you may not reproduce, republish, sell or create derivative works from protected site material without permission.
Rights in user submissions and third-party material remain with their respective owners, subject to the licence described above.
5. Travel information and external services
France Tourism provides general discovery and planning information, not professional, legal, safety or booking advice. Conditions, entry requirements, schedules, prices and availability can change without notice.
- Confirm reservations and cancellation conditions directly with the provider.
- Check current transport, weather and access information before departure.
- Review official guidance relevant to your itinerary and individual needs.
The site may provide access to submission tools or third-party services. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply. France Tourism is not responsible for services operated independently by third parties.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
France Tourism is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, no express or implied guarantee is made that the site will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular trip or purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, France Tourism will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or reliance on site content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to be responsible for claims or losses resulting from your unlawful use of the site, your breach of these Terms or material you submit that violates another party’s rights.
7. Changes, suspension and termination
We may update site features, correct content, remove submissions, suspend access or discontinue all or part of France Tourism. We may also update these Terms. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
You may stop using the site at any time. Access to submission features may be suspended or terminated if these Terms are breached or where action is reasonably required for security, legal or operational reasons.
8. General provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms form the agreement concerning your use of France Tourism and replace prior understandings on that subject.
- Severability: If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
- No waiver: A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written permission.
- Disputes: The parties should first attempt to resolve concerns through good-faith communication. Any unresolved matter may be brought before a court with competent jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
